NOTICE OF MEETING

       NOTICE is hereby given that the Cherokee County Commissioners’ Court will meet in Regular Session at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 8, 2010 at its regular meeting place in the County Courtroom in the County Courthouse in the City of Rusk, Texas, for the purpose of:

          1.        Call to Order.

          2.         Invocation.

          3.        Consider laying utility lines in each precinct.

           

          4.        Consider approval of  Sheriff Department monthly report for January, 2010.

          5.        Consider approval of Robin Parsons to be reserve deputy.

          6.        Consider approval to sell Above Ground Fuel Storage Tank at Airport.

           7.        Consider approval to purchase timber from Mr. David Cooper for airport runway height clearance.

           8.        Consider approval to re-roof the Jacksonville Tax Office at 301 West Commerce.

           9.        Consider posting 25mph speed limit on CR 4217 in Precinct No. 4 and public hearing on February 22, 2010.

           10.      Consider approval of the following consent agenda:

                       10.1    Approval of Commissioners’ Court Minutes of Meetings of    January, 2010.

                       10.2    Approval of County Auditor monthly report for the month ending December 31, 2009.

                       10.3    Approval of Constable Precinct No. 2, Jack White monthly report.

                       10.4    Approval of Constable Precinct No. 4, James Beene monthly report.

           

                       10.5    Consider authorizing the payment of the bills.
