                                                 NOTICE OF MEETING

       NOTICE is hereby given that the Cherokee County Commissioners= Court will meet in Regular Session at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 25, 2010 at its regular meeting place in the County Courtroom in the County Courthouse in the City of Rusk, Texas, for the purpose of:

 1.      Call to Order.

 2.       Invocation.

 3.      Consider laying utility lines in each precinct.

4.      Consider approval of Sheriff Department Racial Profile report for 2009.

 5.      Consider approval to sell surplus and seized items at the Sheriff Department.

 6.      Consider approval to change part of CR 3103 to CR 3101 or CR 3101A road sign.

 7.      Consider request and approval to back slope a ditch on CR 4504 in Precinct No. 4.

 8.      Public Hearing and consider approval for setting speed limit 35 mph on CR 4501 and CR 4217 in Precinct No. 4.

 9.      Consider appointment of County Horticulture Agent Candidate.

            10.       Consider requests for Linda Little, Tax Assessor to refund overpayment of   taxes on various accounts. See attached.

11.     Consider approval of assignment of lease from the Klein Family Trust to George O’Neal for Hangar 16 at Cherokee County Airport.

12.            Consider approval of consent to mortgage of lease hold estate for Hangar 16 at Cherokee County  Airport.

13.            Consider approval of Cherokee County Airport Sales report.

14.     Consider approval of the following consent agenda:

                   14.1   Approval of Jack White, Constable Pct #2 monthly report.

                   14.2   Approval of Ricky Moore, License and Weight monthly report.

          14.3   Authorizing the payment of the bills.
